Qu’est-ce qu’un Hackathon? Des participants de tous horizons seront réunis lors de sessions de travail intensives afin de développer une solution pour répondre à une problématique en santé. Chaque équipe réunira des programmeurs, des analystes en données, des ingénieurs, des médecins, des professionnels de la santé ainsi que des patients. L’objectif : utiliser la force de l’intelligence collective pour trouver des solutions concrètes à des défis et des problèmes de santé. Le projet de l’équipe gagnante aura la chance d’en poursuivre le développement avec le soutien du Comité d’innovation et d’IA mis en place par les initiateurs du projet.

Random Hacks of Kindness Junior invites you to take part in Hacking for the Arts -- a 3-hour virtual hackathon that uses Code.org App Lab and Zoom. RHoK Jr has decided to take the Kids Coding for a Cause Hackathons virtual. The same objective and collaboration that you have come to depend on at RHoK Jr hackathons with a new twist – Zoom Breakout Rooms. Participants will work in groups with a mentor (via a break out room) to create a gaming app using Code.org’s App Lab to address a need of a community nonprofit. Remarkable’s mission is to develop tech and innovation that drives the inclusion of people with disability, and this year they're inviting you to take part in their​ ​Design-athon​! This ​Design-athon is a 4 week immersive online challenge that invites budding entrepreneurs to solve problems identified by our community using an inclusive design methodology. Huawei, the leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, is thrilled to host this year’s European University Challenge 2020 in Sweden. This four-week event is 100% virtual and open to students who are working towards their Masters or Ph.D. in Data Science, Mathematics, Programming, or related field. In this exciting challenge, participants will utilize machine learning to collect points in this head to head gaming competition, all in an effort to win great prizes and be eligible for possible internship opportunities.

Cartesi www.cartesi.io is the only infrastructure that allows developers to use Linux and mainstream software stacks to build Dapps, while maintaining the security of the blockchain. Today it launches it's first-ever developer event and hackathon. The Cartesi DApp Incubation Program in partnership with Gitcoin, is a 3-month program that will reward the best three DApps with more than $80K USD in prizes. Each team is free to request a budget of up to 20K USD for 3 months. Developers can apply for the program until October 12, 2020. Teams are free to build their DApp in their preferred industry. At the end of the program, Cartesi will offer an additional $20K in a matching pool. The third M+ Hackathon, ‘City of Objects’, will take place online on 1–15 August 2020. We invite students, designers, artists, technologists, and cultural enthusiasts to embark on a journey that explores the concept of objects through different lenses—everyday life, personal and cultural identities, and virtuality. The format of this hackathon will be in the style of a two-week online design thinking workshop where facilitators Chun-wo Pat and Christian Marc Schmidt will invite participants to create projects that examine, interpret, and activate objects in a visual culture context. Participants are encouraged to make use of design practices to engage with a wide range of materials, from photographs to data sets. The M+ Collections open data set will also be made available through the M+open accessprogramme—over 6,200 records can be explored on the M+Collections Beta platform, via theM+ GitHub repositoryand thepublic M+ API.
